“The Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC) is an awarding body recognized by the National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and works under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Established in 2014 by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) with industry representatives, LSSSDC is dedicated to creating a sustainable vocational education ecosystem for the Life Sciences sector, including Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, and Research & Development Services.
As the only Sector Skill Council focused on Life Sciences from 'Bench to Clinic,' LSSSDC is responsible for developing a skilled workforce through comprehensive training programs, from R&D to manufacturing and supply of the products (Drugs & Medical Devices) to customers.
